About the Book
Introduction
It is said that Leonardo da Vinci was the last person on Earth who knew everything. Since the days of that gifted scholar, artist, and inventor, human knowledge has burgeoned in every direction, and no one can claim to know “everything.” In putting together such an ambitious book as this, Tony and I are the first to admit that we, too, do not. For this reason, we have reported on the work of several specialists in their field and bring you what we think of as “the best of the best” for the most comprehensive coverage of this enormous subject. All books mentioned are listed at the end.
In this book, we weave together the fine work of motivational speakers, mystics, paranormal researchers, psychic mediums, and even a few speakers from the other side. After all, who better to describe the after-life than those already enjoying it? So, our gift to you, dear reader, is a smorgasbord that begins when the soul prepares to undertake an Earth plane life, and ends when it returns to resume its “interlife” activities. But Tony and I are more than just reporters, for you will find much more hidden among the brilliant work of those we cover. You will discover two Divine Architects who, like you, are trying to put the puzzle pieces of the Great Mystery together.
It happens every five seconds or so on planet Earth. A soul incarnates in a new body and begins a new human life, an experience that will last from a few seconds to maybe a century. Only the soul and its spiritual advisors know for sure what that life will accomplish and, even then, only the probable outcome.
Seconds after birth, even the soul begins to lose touch with home base, its point of departure and ultimate return, as this Divine Architect squeezes into the tiny body that will be its home and partner for the duration. That partnership could result in a brilliant mind that saves countless lives or one that takes them. Or it could be snuffed out after a few days as the body succumbs to disease or hunger. Only the higher self knows.
This book explores the experiences of these Divine Architects, those brave souls who leave the warm, loving soul plane and undertake what souls agree is the most arduous venture that any soul can tackle—a life on planet Earth, acknowledged as the densest environment for learning and growth anywhere.
Chapter 1 picks up the story as a soul begins its journey, defining its goals and choosing the circumstances of its next life. We examine the factors that it must consider, the myriad decisions it must make and its preparations for the trip ahead.
In Chapter 2, we follow the soul once it has taken up residence in its new home and watch as it “falls asleep” under the countless daily influences that shape who we become. We examine probably the greatest influence on who we think we are—organized religion—and explore the spiritually based institutions that they could be.
All souls have the potential for greatness and a life of joy and happiness, but how many of us achieve them? In Chapter 3, we look at a few shining stars who have risen above the herd and share their secrets. But many of us fall asleep at the wheel of life and live on “autopilot” so that one day we can hopefully wake up. Chapter 4 explores some of the countless ways in which souls wake egos up to the truth of who they really are.
For 6 – 8 hours a day, our conscious mind rests, leaving the soul and subconscious mind in charge. When we reawaken and review the apparent chaos of our dreams, we can often discover
nuggets of information and insight into who we really are and changes that we need to make in our lives. Chapter 5 looks at the wonderful world of dreams and who the dreamer really is.
As brave new souls come to the Earth plane every few seconds, eager to learn and grow, souls who have completed their life mission head back home. Inevitably, one or more of those will be people we love, and we will experience the pain of loss in our lives. From their perspective, they have just “slipped into the next room” to wait for us and are still actively engaged in learning and growth, even though most of us cannot see or hear them. Chapter 6 explores the fascinating world of psychic mediums, those gifted people who serve as “two-way radios” to the other side, and bring us messages of love and reassurance from across the veil. And Chapter 7 introduces you to your own sixth sense and shows you how you can hone it and contact the soul plane directly.
Chapter 8 deals with the grief of losing physical contact with our loved ones when they cross over and opens us up to new levels of compassion for ourselves and others. Before we take a deeper look at life on the other side, Chapters 9 and 10 take a brief detour into some fascinating ancient wisdom that has been largely lost to us today.
Chapter 11 prepares us for the fact that one day our own sojourn on Earth will be over when, as a soul, we will decide, “It’s a wrap,” and slip out of our body.
What can we expect of our new life, free of many limitations of the Earth plane? A soul’s return home is cause for great joy and celebration on the other side, and thousands may attend our “welcome home” party. Then, after a period of healing and reorientation, you (the soul) reviews your most recent life and rejoins your soul group. To those who stayed on the soul plane, only moments have passed, and you resume whatever you were studying and researching exactly where you left off.
The best way to avoid an uncomfortable life review once you arrive on that side is not to do anything on this side for which you are ashamed. Chapter 12 offers guidance on acting spiritually so that we can avoid generating karma with anyone, including ourselves. It also talks about the new Indigo Children currently incarnating and the changes that our DNA is going through.
So sit back and join us for a wild ride as we explore the Divine Architect’s greatest creation so far—the life you are leading at the moment. By the end of this book, you will know much more about the magnificent being you truly are. Gone will be the days when you can look in the mirror without being in awe of your own reflection, for you, too, are a Divine Architect engaged in manifesting your own piece of the Divine Blueprint.
